Got a bit of a problem, I'm trying to publish some documents to a server outside of my LAN and need to use a full address httt:// www. e.t.c for the hyperlincs in it. The problem is is that they keep changing to UNC \\local server\local drive e.t.c.

Has anyone come across this before and how can I stop it... like a steering wheel in my pocket ....its driving me nuts.....: multi :

What program are you using to upload the docs? Is it the hyperlinks on a webpage that point to the wrong place?

The basic flow of things is

Docs created in word with link to servers on local dom and have local names\\bigserver\group\world.....e.t.c these documents are converted to flash using flash paper and placed on a server outside of the local dom. What I would like to know is, is there a way of getting word to automatically changing the hyperlinks to http://www. blah blah blah instead? We have a script now that checks the documents and can change them, however, I'd like to not do it at all.
