hi all just built htps with asus mobo with built in hdmi and 8 channel hd audio
4gb ram 1tb harddrive blu-ray burner sky star hd 2 amd phennom x4 9550 vista ultimate 64 bit and full version of dvbviewer 4.1.1.1 i have had some codec probs but i think i have sorted but i have had to send ram back as it turns out that with the asus mobo to run dual channel the modules have to be low density or the board will not post unless you clear the cmos first so i have had to send ram back and waiting for a replacement but when i get it set up i want to use the onboard hd sound can any1 please help as to which would be the best way to get it would i be able to plug speakers direct to back of mobo using 3.5mm jack or would i need a seperate amp i also have an optical audio out thanks for your help guys
