HTC Help pleeeeeze

Hi all,
I have a friend (believe it or not haha) who has found a HTC Touch2 mobile phone, now his question is, should he hot tail it down to his local cop shop to hand it in? Or should he keep it and if so, what could be the consequences? He has already put his own sim card in and it seems to work a treat, hmmmm could it become blocked or traced? Thank you

take it to the police station. They will hold it for about a month and then if its not claimed it is legally yours.

well said that man. i lost a wallet £140 in it. i was more scunnered i lost a great wallet and some baby photos of my kids.

more than likely the person who lost it will have a new 1 now anyway, via insurance or whatever, definetely hand it in, like sum1 else said if no 1 can prove its theres then its yours (or ya mates, lol) after about a month!
