how to make a cat 5e cable

hey all

trying to make a cat5e cable here

googled it and there is so many different tuts

one says for the wires to go one way and another tut says they go differently?!?!!

i'm so confused!

lol

what way do the twisted pairs go?

it shouldnt really matter about the colours as long as they are the same line up at both sides.

for xover u just swap 1 and 2, 3 and 6.
