How does recording work?

Put in my 32gb Kingston USB at the back lastnight and done some recording... When I went to media I saw the files but it wouldnt play... Tried usb in my comp but said not formatted...

Put usb back in and no no storage device found... Take it recordings have been lost?

Also how do I get the USB to work again?

you really should formatt the drive by pressing HDD on remote

instead of pressing media press list and it will work
(hopefully) lol

Ok restarted the box with the usb in and didnt load... took the usb out and restarted it worked...

Popped the usb in and no device, restarted enigma and device now found so I can play the files by pressing the media button etc...

However how do I know get the files from the USB to my PC? Can I mount the USB somehow?

you should format the usb in the receiver, press HDD then red

to get at your recordings from the pc, type

ftp://tm800ip

navigate to media/usb and youll see the recordings as .ts files

Sorted... username root, password blank I should be able to mount the drive in my computer... brb
