How bad ere the Italians

I'm glad that Italy are finally out of Euro 2008.
It must be something about the Italian mentality that makes players of very high technical skills play such mind numbing football.
Hopefully the game between Russia and Spain will give us some open attacking football.

they were almost the same in the world cup though - they seemed to pick up a bit halfway through.

I had Italy in the sweepstake at work, wish I had Russia now.

i dont think there bad there one of the best tactical teams in the world and there tactics pay off more than not

they didnt score too many goals at euros that maybe cost them, but i like the way they allways play as a unit and with a togetherness, maybe england should take note

I thought the first half was poor, not many chances but half way through the second from the Casillas save; that's when the game kind of woke up to life. I nearly got scared when Buffon spilled Senna's shot, but the post saved it lol.

Poor penalties from Italy, great save by Casillas, my god he streched far...

In my opinion, out of spain, russia, turkey and germany, I think the winners will be Russia.

I would hesitantly agree that the final will be Germany v Russia.

I sincerely hope the Turks get their asses handed to them.
