Home server ?

Howdy guys after some advice.

Im looking for a home server ill be mainly using it to share file's between pc's but i also want to host a website on it aswell, but space is an issue ive seen this h**p://h40059.www4.hp.com/mss/ its small enough and seems to be exactly what i want but can anyone tell me if i can host a webpage on it ?.If you can is windows home server secure ? .or if anyone can recommend anything else to me or anything to look out for it would be much appreciated.

You should be able to host a website on it... static IP would be best but there are ways around that.

But at £499 (play.com) you could build better spec for cheaper with a legit windows home server licence. Specs for the HP server are AMD 1.8GB Sempron64, 512Mb DDR2 and 2x500GB hard drives.

Thanks alot mate thats mint.I normaly do build my own gear but just like the case its nice and small ave found them at pc world for 399 but like you much better system building my own.Has windows home server got its own security or is it like a normal os and you got to add your own.

Had a quick look at the features of home server, if I've read it right it still needs a firewall and AV but automatic backup and update via network capabilities (service packs, software, av etc) built in.
