Mate of mine who runs a nearby club asked me to have a look at this projector.
I normally don't bother with these type of repairs anymore but he's a mate so I agreed. The symptoms are a dead set.
I soon found that a fusible resistor on the power ballast board was open. Its' a safety component and will have to be ordered but I can't source one.
Hoping that someone here who is still active in the trade may know where I can obtain it from.
