help with modding pace d1400

hi there im new here and was wondering if someone could give me some info in what is involved in modding my box to work with a fun card,i know talkback needs cutting but what else after that,does it need a chip somewhere ?
any info would be great.

you need your ird + bk then the files that are for your area
have a read about in the forums all this has covered many times and if you get stuck ask in the relevant forum and i am sure some one will answer

thanks for that,iknow about the cardprogramming bit,but i was wanting to know if there is a chip needed also,after the talkback is disabled.
