help with a modem pls

hello

i am haveing some prbs with a 250 modem,as when i goto to hit it for the first time i am getting this up?

Enter '1', '2', or 'p' within 2 seconds or take default...
. .

Performing CRC on Image 2...
Detected LZMA compressed image... decompressing...

..


and it will not let me in to flash it,i know that my thing is working ok as i have tested it on a modem that i have done before..

any help would be gratefully.

Recheck Your connections Mt8, AFAIK, if its givin You the option it should be ok.

What error are You getting?

make sure the wires are connected properly make sure the hyperterminal window is on top of any other windows and make sure that you dont have caps lock on

sounds like you havent brought hyperterminal to the front....try clicking round the edge of hyperterminal so that it turns dark blue well if on xp anyway...

sounds silly but it can be an easy mistake to make....if you are getting the 1,2,p option modem is 99.9% good to go...

I would be a little clearer on your problem, include your setup and exact procedure but if I have read it right i had a similar isue and it turned out the problem was the USB keyboard I was using. Try Ps2 if you can.
