HELP - Setting up external usb HDD ?

Hi All

Managed to softmod wii and selected to use a HDD in WBFS style. I have a conforming Western Digital drive BUT i can not format it to WBFS ???

It may be already in WBFS mode but not sure, but nothing will format it ?????

I then used Wii Backup Manager and proceeded to put a game on a it stated ' drive conforms do you wish to create a WBFS folder'

Is this correct ???

When i right click on the hdd in my computer it is still NTFS format BUT a WBFS folder, which has the game folder i transferred in which is the actual wbfs game file. There is also a disc.info file which has been added to the root of the hdd

Anyone help ??

Managed to format it to WBFS, put Abba game on it.

Configurable USB loader plays it fine BUT wiiflow shows the game then goes to load when selected BUT just returns to Homebrew screen.

Is this normal ? Do some games work on one loader and not the other ??

i always format the drives to fat32, that way you can put the loader files on the harddrive as well as the games..


if wiiflow is returning to the homescreen then then that suggests it can't find the game for some reason.

i dont use wiiflow either.

config usb loader does everything needed..
