Help please, tried everything!

Hi Guys, having owned by dbox for about a month now, i'm getting to grips with images, bouqets, scanning etc... But I can;t seem to get my box working well for any amount of time

The box is a Sagem 1x with Gav's latest image converted from 2x.

The channels are all appearing, and even the EPG is working now, BUT i'm getting a lot of freezes, to the point that it never recovers and requires a reboot. Sometimes the box seems to lose signal and reports 'no channel available' on every channel.

I've checked the signal strength, BER etc and all appears ok. So I just don't know what i'm missing. Can anyone shed any light before my misses batters me to death as the box decides to hang while she watches her fav soaps

Take the modem out see if that helps

Thanks for the info Fergasworld, but i've already done that..

I've already trailed through the forum and tried and tested most suggestions.

I wouldn't want to waste your guys time and be a complete noob who didn't bother looking for an answer first!

So the questions still stands, please any other suggestions would be welcome

Try flashing with a different image, as good as gavs image is it does not appear to suit all boxes.try sportster 17+ uk 04 have seen good posts on this image.
