Help Needed

As above, i need help with converting a file..


I have a avi file which i have cut a piece of video out of.. im going to shrink it so its small... but i need to convert this into jpg.

Does anyone know how this is acheived??? i have photoshop etc

You can capture a single frame using windows movie maker, there's a camera icon, so you can pause the movie at an appropriate point and click the camera and it will capture that frame. Think you can do it in Nero too...

You could use the PrtScr (Print Screen) button the keyboard. It's next to Scroll Lock in the cluster of three. This basically takes a copy of what's on your monitor when you press it. Then go to Paint and hit paste. You can now use the select button (top right hand button at the left of the application) to select the section you want, i.e. the picture you want to save and select copy. Then go File > New and then Paste and then save the file as a .jpg or .bmp.
