Hey GUys
im after a bit of advice i have 5 tvs and two satellite boxes on sky one , viasat box i want to be able to connect them all so that i can pick and chose to have either all showing sky or viasat or a mixture of both , at the moment all can get sky but only 3 can get viasat ,
all tvs have cable coming to the same place so im sure i dont need to run any more cable , we have an rf modulator so was hoping to use that if possible and a 6 way splitter in place
do i need to get a switch of some kind ?

thanks in advance :Biggrin2:

sky box should have rf modulator inbuilt. If viasat box does too then you connect the rf out of sky box to rf in on viasat and then rf out on viasat to your splitter which would then serve the various tv's. If viasat box does not have an inbuilt rf modulator then connect an external one to the viasat box by scart and connect the rf leads in same way as if it were built in.

Just make sure the rf output frequency of the sky box is set differently to the one of the viasat box. Then tune in all the tv's to suit.
