Help need with Estar no Tuner

I have a broken Estar es800 hd se box and did flash a new image.
I looks like it is working but i have no tuner in the setup menu.
Is the tuner broken or can this be a problem with the image.
Please help, I am very new to this but have good knowledge of computers and electronics,

It could be both some images if patched with incorrect drivers wont show a tuner in tuner configuration. Flash another image to confirm this but before doing so take the lid off and make sure the tuner is pushed fully home in its slot.

Ferret, thanks for the quick response.
I am not allowed to download yet, but when i can,
can you recommend a image that is supposed to work with a DBC-Cable tuner?
Is the type / brand of tuner important for the choice of the image or is it if one work they will all work.

Tuner type makes no difference as the patched drivers will use any tuner.

Try this image although it is dated i know it works 100% and will prove the point.
