help multiregion on sony hx510

hi guys i hope someone has had the same trouble as me i found this http://www.auspaytv.com/sony/ so i followed the instructions udeing a urc-8204 but for some reason i cants seem to get the thing working. i read someware that it depends on the firmware your player has but i wouldnt know how to check. please let me know any ideas you may have

if anyone is interested the only thing i was doing wrong was not setting the dvd player in comand mode 1. there are codes for many more dvd players/recorders on the link above so they may help someone
