Hi there folks. I just purchased a Sagem Dbox 2 and i'm currently awaiting it's arrival. This place looks like it's going to be an invaluable resource.

Here's hoping i don't get a duffer. I paid £72 for it off ebay.

One question i do have though, isn't there some way in which the cable companies can detect that you have changed your hardware?

as for the cc's finding out if you plug in your dbox2 then no they cant as the box has no talkback on it but might get susspisious if you dont keep your subbed box plugged in.
i would suggest still keeping the basic package at least to make sure your feed doesn't get cut off . and also because i still remember ITV DIGITAL who lost alot of money because people hacked it

Ahh, so you need to keep the legit box plugged in? I take it you use a splitter to supply the Dbox?

just get a splitter m8, that will solve ya problem............

then ya can plug both in..............
