Have you bought a freesat card from sky?

ive just had a phonecall from sky asking if i want to upgrade my card to receive sky channels, EVERY channel except movies and sports for £5 a month and after 12 months this expires leaving the 3, 4 and 5 on the card

anyone else had this phone call?

i told them that i sold my box and card but have a new box without a card, they going to send me a new card with the package active on it and i just paid £60 over the phone and its done

its not a con but you cant order direct from sky, you have to wait for their agency sales team to contact you. Its been going for a while and all about figures and boosting sales. If you phone customer services they will confirm its possible and the scheme exists but will not have a telephone number or contact details to give to you .
