Have you tried another card to check your progger is working correctly? If the card really is Donald Ducked it normally reports the ATR is invalid - never seen it report all zeros before.

I'd be inclined to agree that you have a problem with the reader. Judging by the fact that you are using com4: i'd guess its one of them virtual serial port thingies via USB - never a good thing to use for this lark !

still getting the above, checked the progger, its ok, have previously written this card successfully.....any ideas please?

Nagra
Rom Studio

Never seen all zero's before, try it on a different PC if you can pref win98se.

I aint got another pc strange thing is this card was working ok a few days agao. Tried reading it with nagra 4/4.1 , XNCS and ROM studio. They either the string of zero's as shown in previous thread or 'no atr returned...'
any further ideas lads and lasses?
