half channels missing on 4001

Hi Guy's.....pace 4001 was working ok on fun...then keys rolled and now only sum channels..including only 2 teretrial bbc1 bbc2....a lot of the other channels have no pic and very distorted sound...but the film channels (most) are ok....if i reboot box it shows "Tune" and does nothing...but if i do a warm boot it goes back to previous faulty condition (channels missing) i know the rst file works (pure n^l)
Please scartch your heads and maybe tell me the prob
P.S....Just donated, wouldn't no what to do without dw
