Right so the sheld weve build is going to be used as 1 half a seating area and the other half gym.
My question is what do we use for the flooring?

The builders said heavy duty wood, which is expensive.
However I have concerns over putting heavy weights etc over it.

Second option was Lino. Apparantly it doesn't dent, anti bactarial and not slippery £15 per square foot.

Any other suggestions/advise for what I need pls?

Carpet no good when it comes to heavy duty equipment, as per what ive read.
Its heavy duty wood, Viynl or Rubber.

Plus I hate carpet as all them small dirt particals and dust particals gather which is bad for some one with Asthma.

Just been to the local Carpet shop and they said rather then putting both wood and then vynl, im better off just putting the one.
I'm thinking of goign for the Vynl wood effect?
He said if the room is warm, then the vynl will also be warm.

If your putting heavy weights and gym equipment on it then even the best Lino will dent and mark,
Personally I would just use floorboards with plenty of coats of hard wearing varnish and a rug for your seating area, you can then at least wash the rug if it gets too dirty or full of dust.

my parents have the rubber gym flooring but i cant say ive noticed any dints in it. anyway who loos for dints when ya working out?

Ill be working out as soon as this flooring is sorted lol.
Where did you get the rubber from and for how much?
