I'm sure there was a guide to take the play out of tm2600 motor. Anyone point me in the direction of this guide.

On inspection of my dish , I 've found there is quite a bit of play in the motor. This results in the sat signal being hit & miss. Normally I can manually tune using fine tune on set top box to get a signal but some channels are still a problem. As I said above there was a guide to fixing this on here but I can't seem to locate it.

As far as i remember there was no backlash adjustment on the 2600 as Technomate stated it didint need it lol. I might be wrong.

The 2100 and 2300 had backlash adjustment.

Sure there was a guide on here, may of been for 2100 or 2300 but I would of thought same principles would apply to 2600. I just wanted an idea of what I would need & what adjustments solve the problem. It's more a problem of play in once it reaches the desired satellite. You can move dish without any resistance a small distance but enough to affect sat signal & obviously any sort of wind would shift it.

I've got a tm2600 motor sat on the shelf at home, when I get home tonight I'll upload some photos. From memory, there are not adjustments and at around £40.00 ish I would guess they are throw away.

Here is the motor I do not see anywhere to adjust backlash without opening the motor.
