ive just purchased a radeon hd 4350 graphics card which is PCIE 2 and i have a motherboard which supports PCIE X 16 slot and 2 PCIE X 1 slot, motherboard is Gigabyte GA M55 Plus S3G.

Could someone tell me if this should work with this, booting up and getting nothing, computer would only boot to the onboard, just to let u no onboard was faulty (goes blue) now onboard wont even boot with card out.
Removed battery and reset bios, now its booting with onboard again.

the card will work fine in the x16 slot, did you check the bios before putting the card in to disable the onboard video? this is probably why your not getting any picture.

In BIOS there should be a option to select which video device to boot from, either on-board or PCI-E

it was set to PEG which is right.

U have 3 choices
pci slot
onboard vga
PEG
Its set to PEG even although i dont even have the card in right now, which it shouldnt as im using onboard right now.

its ok now
couldnt get the vga part to work, took the dvi connection i have on my comp and tried it on this other and it worked, will try the vga again but that was the problem.

also the graphics card is boiling which i dont think is right,i no they get hot but this would burn your hand, its that hot.
