My 6800GT card seems to over heat alot going up to 110 C usually before it crashes. So I bought myself a unit for extracting the air out of the pc and a case fan. My question is which way should I have the air flow of the case fan?

what kind of unit have you brought? is it a Exhaust fan? i have 2x 7900gs there where also running high 59c and the fan making so much noise. so i brought 2x Evercool SB-F2 Dual PCI System Exhaust Fan Blower £3.89 for each

I install one on top and other at bottom View attachment 26519 the bottom fan, i dismantle the pci clip and turn it around. it really easy to do. after installing 2 of this fans. my GPU stay idle at 51c and when i plaing games in load its around 56c. i also have fans controller at front

110 c is far too high mate, I'd find out what's causing the massive temperatures and sort that out 1st.

The highest I've ever saw mine was about 65 c

I bought something similar to that exhaust fan that fit a pci slot put in at the bottom of the pc. I also got a standard case fan putting air into the system at the rear. I think its about time I upgrade the 6800GT I had it for just under 2 years. The 110c is the GPU core temp.
I've been thinking about upgrading everything, this case I thought look cool and would be good for cooling

have you overclock your GPU? the temp is to high. and the Case look nice. and dont bother with single slot exhaust, there dont work. i know this is USA website site. http://www.xoxide.com/slotcooler2.html

but there have nice cooling exhaust fans. special the Thermaltake, Vantec and Sunbeam

No not overclocking. I think the problem is from where the pc is located not alot of air getting near it but I sorted that now(may have feckedmy card up though). I think it still under warranty might try return the card, It been acting up for month now just havent been bother to do anything about. The Thermaltake one look impressive. This looks like the one I got http://www.xoxide.com/slotcooler.html
I might just go the whole hog and upgrade everything get a pci express card.
