A man from Wigan owned a beautiful Cairn terrier. It was a winner at Crufts and also won lots of other blue ribbon events. When the dog died he decided to have a statuette made of him. He employed this man to design a likeness of the dog.
“Na lad” he said “I want me dogs statuette lifelike, does tha know what ha mean? And ha wants it made of gold”.
“Lifelike and made of gold. Yes sir” He said “and would that be 18 carat?”.
“Nay tha daft wassock” He replied “I want him munchin a bone”
