Hi,

can someone help with this problem please, got someone trying to get a separate hub/router for there pool room & cannot get any sense from VM atm. They have a garden, then a pool, then the pool house where they want internet. Router is in a small lounge & distance from there to pool house is probably 45-50 meters, any ideas please?

Would a wifi extender help? Thats all VM will offer or maybe home plug set up with a wireless access point in the pool room, providing the pool room is on the same electrical network as the router.

get a cheap DLInk 615D router and flash ddwrt on it turn the router into a wireless bridge.

If you mean a separate VM connection and router then you would need to run an RG6 coaxial to the street - if you mean you need to just add wifi from the same VM connection I would suggest running an external grade CAT5e or CAT 6 cable from the original router position and terminate at each end with RJ45 connections and then use a Unifi Ubitquiti AP LR wireless access point in the pool house. This unit would need to use its PoE injector so make sure a power socket is available at the router location - this will power and supply ethernet connection to the unifi unit on the same cable. Please see link to device Ubiquiti UniFi UAP AC Long Range Access ... | Comms Express this AC long range device is very easy to set up and can be done by unifi smart phone app
