Hi guys can anyone help me?

I'm trying to get my disc channel to read backup's but I cant seem to get cioscorp to install.

I run the launcher from the homebrew channel but it says 0 files found 0 files failed. then all I can do is exit. What am I doing wrong? The readme just says place files on SD card and run but there must be more to consider than that?

You got the full 1.1v mate, about 55meg??

You should have a folder in the root of your sd card called DARKCORP_v1.1 with all the files needed and a folder in your apps called DARKCORP_v1.1_installer

Run this from your homebrew channel and it will give you options, if its the first time you have gone to install this, choose the virgin install, if its not then choose the upgrade option, takes a while and when its finished it will reboot the machine, hope this helps

I would use 3.6 v1.1 did not get games to run for me.

Thats what I tried last time sargie :(

Come to think of it there is already a folder called apps on the SD card, if I was to copy the contents of the ciocorp apps folder to the already existing apps folder and put everything else onto the root of the SD card, in theory that should work right?

Yeah mege the folders, copy and replace the files.

well this time i got it to install but it doesnt seem to launch many of my games whereas neo gamma loads them all.

i know a few are ntsc but for example, mario kart which i thought was pal didnt boot? or should cioscorp launch them regardless of region?

cioscorp will luanch all my pal games no probs at all but after the game titles finish it crashes and says car't read disc Ect Ect ......but neogamma 7 plays the same games with not a problem .....

Like I said, Darkcorp 1.1

Cant go wrong, if it didnt install properly then there was something wrong with the way the wii was flashed, it has worked everytime on over 40 wii's I have upgraded :)

I will have to see if I can find darkcorp to download then. will it happily install over the top of cio 3.6? And will it boot games regardless of region? If not then I may aswell keep cio as it works fine just I still get the unable to read disc message on a lot of my games

Choose the upgrade from the options as you have already got cioscorp

What people are forgetting here is that darkcorp 1.1 is basically cioscorp 4, they aint different people, so theres no need to worry about it, mario kart is a weird one mate, unless you get it patched or play it from hdd then most people still have to launch that from neogamma, thats about the only one, certain games need patching, new super mario bros did at the time or that had to run from hdd only, then neogamma now its fine after being patched :)

Thanx for the info!

what about mario galaxy 2? I have an ntsc version which is fine to play with neo gamma but that says unable to read disc aswell via disc browser.

Is it a regional thing? what with my wii being pal.

I remember reading all the hoohaa regarding new super mario but luckily i got into the scene after it was patched :)

ok, i just updated to darkcorp 1.1 which is doing the job but I was wondering if there is a way to get the wii to read out of region discs via the disc channel?

if your on 4.2 then no, try using regionfrii to change the iso to pal and burn again mate

Glad you installed darkcorp 1.1 fine

Firmware 4.1 is great for out of region, after grabbing the iso I always run ntsc games through regionfrii and change to PAL, you get a weird error message sometimes using it, dont worry, carry on and change to PAL and then burn using nero or whatever you use, hopefully that should do the trick, im guessing your also using priiloader as well for protection from any disk or internet updates

That's a shame. It annoys me using neo gamma more than it proberly should lol even though its a really good bit of software!

I guess I could reburn the discs. But its more hassle then its worth imo, I'll just lump it lol.

Although I will look into this regionfrii and try this with the next ISO I grab! Thanx for the help! You and sargie have been stars!

no worries mate, here to help, like i said before, make sure your using priiloader to stop any updates from disks and the internet

Next you will be using a hard drive :) thats the way to go really

I have read about priiloader and the online updates method athough I have been running my ISOs through brickblocker first and its been fine so far *touch wood* lol

Could I get a low profile usb drive that would draw its power from the Wii as I have too many plugs as it is lol

no, has to be a desktop one with its own power supply, brickblocker can do more harm than good on some games mate, I use to use that after using regionfrii and it made some games not load, so stopped using that and use priiloader to do all the work, just use regionfrii to change to pal and thats it, but to be honest, im still on 4.1 and use a hdd so it pretty much plays everything anyway :p

can darkcorp 1.1 be used on 3.2e? im assuming i can just choose update as im using cioscorp 3.5?
