getting a mac

was hoping someone could point me in the right direction here,im tryin for my first time to get an ambit up and running in my own gaff,ive a tw feed, non subbed in my own place,at the minute my only access to the net is a friends pc whos on a bt asdl conn,can anyone tell me how to get a mac from this position id appreciate the help.cheers

to get a mac you need tobe on the cable or tw network....... find someone in this position the run dhcp force on their pc.....making sure they are not using a hub ie striaght into modem.........this will produce macs for you....... hopefully..

thought of that m8 only moved into area not long ago so i dont know too many people,could always write santa a letter,lol thats the way its going at the min,cheers anyway bud.
