General connections and TV

Can we have a section for General HW and how to connent.

Like what is progressive scan

are scart and component compatable etc

whats the best way of connecting these 6 devices into the only 2 inputs I have in my TV.

I know that most of these questions are answered on other forums, but most of them are not happy about you talking about a DBox, Dream or Modded STB, we have the skills on this board why don't we do it ourselves?b
