Yeah I think if we are to have a moderated forum where people cannot say what they think if it offends some homogenized moral hegemony, then I think protecting homosexuality should be up there with denouncing race hate, immigrant hate, forum member hate etc.

There is a big difference between having a laugh about 'hiding the sausage in the Toblerone box' as most people in this thread have been, and being outspoken about your opinion that homosexuality is morally wrong.

If you knew anything about it gaz, you would know, like stevemac says, that it is not a choice, more a genetic predisposition. Moreover, is it not sensible to allow people to do what they want as long as they are doing it with consent, and not hurting anyone else? Isn't that what society should aspire to?

It doesn't float my boat, but how is this any different to a heterosexual couple doing the same? I personally wouldn't be happy about any couple coming and sitting next to me just start slobbing all over each other.
At 10 years old they should be old enough to learn what homosexuality is, we're not living in the 50s anymore.

If gays and lesbians want to have a march, go let them. No one has to stick around and watch it if they dont want to (unless they are police etc).
