Hi Chaps

I'm after some advice on building a garden pond.

Basically I have 2 muscovy ducks that currently enjoy a good old splash in a childs pool 450litres. They love this but I think its unsightly so its got to go lol

The plan is to build a pond with the ability to empty via a pump, which will then distribute the nutrient rich water to my plants / veg patches etc..

What I cant decide is: should I buy a preformed pond liner or just the pvc liner.

I was thinking of building a sump pump in the bottom of the pond which I can connect to a manifold that will then distribute the nutrient rich water.

I'm worried that by using the pvc liner type installation I won't be able to build a sump pump section in the pond. The problem with the preformed liners is that I haven't found one that meets my requirements

All help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers for the link, I've just read the whole section lol. It looks like a standard liner is the preferred method over the preformed liner.
