game query

Hi all.
Just ordered a R4 from supercardstore after seeing it recommended on here but have a question.
I'm downing games for the kids and want to make sure what the extensions mean after the title ie Eur. Multi5
will this play on a UK ds lite and will ntsc USA ones work aswell.

Just found out the answer by reading through all the posts on here, but one thing can a nds file be renamed so instead of msoe.nds i can put mariosonic.nds? , so the kids will know what game it is.
