Galaxy Tab Screen Lock Removal.

Is there any way of removing the screen lock password on a Tab 7 without losing data ?

Realise i can reset it however the daughter's catalogue of picture are on there and been a scatter brain and having not used it for a while she has forgotten the lock code.

The pics are very important to her so would like to help if there is a way of doing it.
