FTA 101 noob

Hi,

I'm a complete noob when it comes to these fta 101's. Mine went off afew days ago, but i got it back working by using the keys provided on one of the other posts. I just have afew questions about this box:

1. Will i have to enter a new key every couple of days to keep the box running, and if so any other way to get the keys rather than hassling somebody for em?

2. Any idea if or when epg will come to this box. It's a pain not knowing whats on sometimes?

hi m8, the only time u need to re-enter the key is when the keycode changes, and as far as the epg is concerned we will have to wait for the new software update for this box and hopefully it,ll have a epg fix. jon

cheers mate for the responce How would the software update be transfered to the box, serial port???

yes m8 it would through the 9 pin din on the back of your receiver and the correct serial lead. jon
