Frequency Plan on sb5100 In this weeks exciting episode!!!

I put a message on TCNISO cos of my lack of flashing LEDs on my sb5100.
I did'nt have much hope of a reply ,but to my supprise i got a promising one just now.
The guy said:
Go to the modem's configuration page and set the frequency plan, frequency and upstream channel id. then reboot. that should work.

I went to the page but don't know what to do.
As far as i can see there is no way to set anything.
And if there was what should i set it to?
Do you think he ment from the sigma page?
I went back to old surfboard frimware in my attempt to get it going.
another 1/2 hour to put it back!!

And i said they were a useless bunch of c*nts!
I take it all back.
They are a really nice bunch of chaps after all.
Unless my modems don't work.
Hope he don't read this.

are u talking about like on an ambit yeah u can set the frquencies that type of thing? like mine didnt work either till i set em all to valid...... coz rember u rmodems from a differnt area eh so like possibly thats y

I saw the words on a website somewhere when i was looking for the blackcat.

Ahh rember them days when all you had to worry about was where to find the blackcat software.

No if this works and i get the feeling it will i'l stick up for them in future.

I.E. theres a number for something and frequency plan for NTL
Been playing around with it but still nothing.

I'll sing another song when i've got the going.

I've been searching but still can find a diffinitive answer.
I've used the frequency setting from ambit which i thought would work.
I was hoping someone on here had the same experience and would save me hours of trial and error.
Or at least say i was wasting my time.
Maybe because the sb5100 are relative new to being able to be done the infromation is'nt common.
I'm off to tcniso .
I aint given up yet.
