Yea! the posty's just turned up with my free Wifi card.

So expect yours very shortly if you were one of the lucky 500 anyway.

Thank You TM

Pak....

Urm, I thought we all got them at the same time MONTHS ago? :err:

wifi works perfect now :)

dont think so mate
but I have no use for it so bother to me lol

the people who got them months ago were part of a unique deal, everyone else had to wait, its nice to see theyre finally starting to arrive though :)

wifi now works perfectly, and as 95% of people who are buying 'ethernet based' receivers at the moment are buying them to use as client or slave receivers, theres only really a few of us that would like to see the card reader active, but, there are other things that i personally would like to see sorted out first though

I am interested in getting one once all sorted out.
Surely digi, lots on here use these to share as master so card reader is important mate?

so far i only know of one person using to read a card, and theyre using a smargo, personally, i wouldnt trust my card to be safe in there, not for a good few months untill after its been working, even then, the way i have my house setup, i still wouldnt have a card in it

the image is being worked on hard at the moment, and with the progress being made with plugins and skins etc, by xmas this could turn things round and be THE single tuner HD receiver to have, but, only if the talk about the image work thats going on at present actually comes to fruit

ive seen so many dates come and go, missed promises, unfixed fixes, etc, that ive now stopped releasing information that im told to release, each missed date makes me look more of a d1ck for being the one announcing them, however, behind the scenes, things are now looking up, and im quietly hopefull that the next couple of weeks will see the receiver imporving in leaps and bounds

i have a flash drive full of plugins and stuff that im ready to create a download panel with 'a la tonedeff :)' lol and the feature that allowed me to create the DW modded image should also be fixed

so, fingers crossed, and all that, we may get you to have one under your telly one day lol

thanks for that , same almost here.I did think i might have had a better bitrate using N type router though

:proud::proud::proud:

I`ve Received my wi fi modulator today as well compliments of Technomate .I gotta admit i was well surprised never expected it .!!

Anyone ever booted up an the TM800 couldn't see the wifi adapter, then you reboot and it magically appears?

Has anyone got these running at 802.11n speeds ? Are they n standard compliant chipsets on the module, or only 802.11g 54mbps ??

Just tried limiting my router to 802.11n only, TM800HD froze , allowed b,g & n worked ok,so in my opinion the chipset on the card is only b or g compliant .If this is so then i think guys who are looking to stream wirelessly will find it a little limited.

UR team ,are my assumptions correct

So nobody has got the TM800 Wifi connecting at 802.11n speeds then ? Hopefully the chipset is 802.11n compliant and these are just software/driver issues..If it is only a 802.11 b/g compliant chipset it would a serious pisstkje specially as the TM800 wifi addon retails at 50 quid ! When a 802.11n compliant USB dongle can be had for 10 quid.

£50 blimey you can get 2 homeplugs for less than that.

I have mine hardwired.

Been there and done it with the wifi stuff, my router is crud and needed rebooting every couple of days, since I went all wired (5 computers and tm800) I rarely have to reboot the router.

Still use wireless for the laptops but we don't use them often and my neighbours uses the wireless and I normally only reboot if they mention they can't use the net.

I wouldn't even consider £50 for an adapter even if I still liked wireless connections.
