i must admit my laptop kept giving driver errors on my bluetooth device, windows 10 kept installing bluesoli drivers instead of hp generic.

If you have an activated Windows 7 or 8 running then you can still upgrade for free, for some reason Microsoft have left their activation servers running. Just download the media creation tool and follow the prompts.

I've installed LTSC for a couple of friends recently, and after having a bit of mess around with it, I find it quite good, and if you put your internet connection on metered you stop automatic updates until you can check there ok, You should be able to control the updates better though.

not as many crap updates due to fact no unwanted bloat so no headache works fine for me

I have noticed that doing a clean install with a current ISO will work and activate with a windows 7 or 8.1 key as well
