ford escort cooling fan problem

1996/97 ford escort LX 1600 A/C cooling fan not working, can anyone please help

its an elecronic fan works from the motor you have a thormostat that controls this in the radiator 90% that will be buggerd 10% its the fan motor

the fan works ok the manual say`s the thermostat is on the top radiator hose
it has 4 terminals inside it. zetec engine

your car has a main thermostat just off the top hose to the engine but you have an elecronic temp stat on the side of the radiator and that will be your probblem and it dont cost mega bucks to fix as it is only a type of swich
