Browser Firefox homepage/startup

Every time i start up firefox instead of going to a blank homepage i directed to other pages/adverts etc

You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

I have disabled all firefox add-ons and done full scans with antivirus & malwarebytes in safe mode a couple of times nothing found
Any ideas guys?

Clear history, clear cookies and also install Adblock.

Also what happens if you open IE, is that doing the same or is it specific to FF?

If its just FF then you could try restting FF back to default settings.

im assuming you changed the homepage in settings?

try an uninstall and reinstall of firefox

Only happens on FF, I do have adblock, I just ran AdwCleaner and it found>>

[-] Folder deleted: C:\Users\NoodlesXP\AppData\Roaming\.acestream
[-] Folder deleted: C:\_acestream_cache_
[-] Folder deleted: C:\Program Files\Common Files\freemake shared

I have deleted them and seems ok so far, normally happens when i first run ff in the morning so i`ll see what happens then...fingers crossed

Seems all ok now after running the AdwCleaner
