Jeez. Will this bloody thing ever work?

Bought a Sagem dbox2 flashed it (after some major messing about) with one of the sportster pro images. Installed the correct services and bouquet files.

Nothing, no channels. The image itself seems to work like a dream, i can see all the menu options on my TV but it won't display any channels.

Let me get this right, i use an f to co-axial converter and plug into the "antenna" port yeah?

I have it scanning the transponder just now, is that correct? Doesn't seem to be finding anything though.

Hmmm. the scan seems to be finding channels now, i had to change the scan mode to "quick" though. I hope it's cool when it finishes.

Bollocks. It finished the scan and said it didn't find any channels. Even though it displayed that it had found 194.

Any help here would be much appreciated.

Thanks for that. That image seemed to do the trick. It's working rather well.

Only thing is i can't get PPV channels.

After reading over some of the posts it looks like i am. Glasgow?

Some Glasgow service files on the forum claim to have PFV channels but i haven't tried them, scared to jinx my box, which is working absolutely perfectly.

Hi Hairy Steve,
Transfer the bouquet and service files from the \var\tuxbox\config\zapit folder to your pc then transfer the ones you say have ppv to the same folder on the box and overwrite the existing ones.
see if they indeed have ppv
if not you can transfer the original ones back
wont do any harm
go on try it.

ppv

if your in glasgow there is no chance of getting ppv,it was one of the first areas hit with vod both tw and n*l

I'm on TW in Glasgow and still get Front Row channels 1-9.

If you are TW you can add these lines at the bottom of you services.xml file and you should get them. The file is located in /var/tuxbox/config/zapit. FTP the file onto your computer and open with wordpad.
