faulty ps2

hi there guys this is my first post i have got a faulty ps2 which i think the laser has gone i was wondering if there was any way of repairing it all help appreciated

Its best if u jus sell it now while ppl are still buying it, a new laser will cost around £30...no point

my mate just gave it to me yesterday he said its faulty and i can have it so havent paid any thing for it so i guess £30 for a new laser isnt bad

kool, jus make sure u buy the correct one compatible wit ur model

i got it working i opened it up cleaned the lense with a cotton bud and lighter fluid and perfect working a treat thanks for ur help by the way u aint pakistani by any chance r u
