Faster Broadband For Free ?

Hi all, Im normally in the Dbox2 section but just stumbled across the cable modem section and decided to call in. Im going to ask a really stupid question (derr) Can you get faster broadband using a different Modem for free ?

I know probably a stupid question but had to ask !

Hey there welcome nice to see everyone moving around the site and not sticking to the one place , to answer your question...yes you can get faster broadband for free though it does take some time reading to get it to work but as you have probably guest if you have managed to get your d-box runing then you have the ability to sort out your free broadband..

things you would have to have;

ntl or telewest broadband

sb**** motorola modem or ambit 100, 120, 200 (ntl and telewest standard modems)

rs323 cable used to change the MAC address of the modem to clone it ... try a search if your not sure what it is

if you have these you should check out some of the tutorials in the download section and read how you do it sorry im not alot more helpful but all the stuff you need is in the downloads section or in this forum good luck!
