Fast forward no sound

5402 playing film 4 via USB recording fast forward the ads and lose the sound not only the recording but also the live TV. Has anyone an idea how to fix baffled. Have to shut down completely to fix but as soon as you fast forward same thing.

I have had similar issues and the problem was resolved by re-doing the channel list. You might try a different patch as some seem more stable with recordings than others.
And have you checked that your USB device is up to the job? There is a speed-check facility in the USB menu.

Mine's on 145p (Jul 16) and works fine, I can PM you a working list if you like. NB I've never been able to reliably FF at more that 4X.
