Has anyone got the most recent rst for ex c*w, i'm playing around with some funcards attenpting to learn more but i am unable to try them without rst.

Cheers

have you got a valid card working at present, if so, you can read keys and make your own hex.

sorry i can't as i am on my lappy, and all my cable stuff is on my pc.

Is the info in the tuts to do this, its something i've never done before, i have a working atmega at the moment

The Rst flash (when read in notepad) will contain your ird on line ":101C4" like this:
:101C400000000000********00000000000000000E
and the *'s in there will be your ird
and also in the flash it will have your bk on line ":101CF" like this:
:101CF000008900000000FFFF****************FF
and the *'s will be your bk.
if you have made up your Rst flash properly that is.
Once you have made it you wont need to change it ok.
:)
Then there is the Rst eeprom file which has the current keys in it and these can be changed simply by just downloading one and right click and view it with notepad and the top few lines will look like this:
:)
:10000000D6AB1A137529E77289B77E70309D89CAFD
:10001000D6AB1A137529E77289B77E70309D89CAED
:1000200000000000000000000000000000000000D0
:10003000AF14D85DFA1BDDA9586524851C1DFBFF94
:100040006058BA05565AAD0E4F8CD561B60B9E5D01
:10005000699CE59B495199F8712A7D4A277C9795BF
:1000600076A29255B6A0E950486D1BBF2EC52F8FC2

:)
You only need to look at the top 2 lines and on each of those lines it has the Key0: and the Key1: keys and the check sum at the end like this:
:10000000D6AB1A137529E77289B77E70309D89CAFD
:10001000D6AB1A137529E77289B77E70309D89CAED
:)
So Key0: =D6AB1A137529E772....(not the real current key)
and Key1:=89B77E70309D89CA....(not the real current key)
and for the check sum all you do is download checksum calculator:
http://www.world-of-digital.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42552&highlight=checksum
and copy the whole line from the ":" at the begining right to the end of the Key1: ie:
:10000000D6AB1A137529E77289B77E70309D89CA
and paste it into the checksum calculator and you press "Do it" and it will add 2 figures on the end ie FD on the first line and ED on the second line, ( The second line is different because of the :10001000 at the begining).
Then you just edit your eep file out in notepad and save it, rar it and post it.

Did that help Gary, if not then I have working RST for 23/08/2005. I can email you that if needed.

You just need the Rst gen' program and the checksum calculator and your ird and bk numbers and the current keys from your atmega to make a funcard up.
Clive.

Thanks Clive, had to go offline and put kids to bed but i am just about to try the method you have detailed, i appreciate your response. I'll let you know the outcome.

Yes sorry, Clive is right..I only have limited knowledge about his, just know how to get to A-B lol

@yashsmash, There was nothing wrong with your helpfull offer of the Rst and he might have wanted it but together we covered all the bases, thanks ;)

@Gary10001, Good luck mate ;)
Clive.

Clive i am unable to download the link you have supplied, i just get a white screen and the page telling me its done, is this a DW issue or me.

Yes the site is having temporary difficulties while its being improved as detailed at the top of the page.
It should get cleared up soon ;)
Clive.

For future referance, i purchased an Led simm from Atmelace to retrieve my boxkey / ird although the ird was easy enough to find in the eng menu. The Led simm is the best investment i have made, the tuturials were excellent and really easy to follow and i took delivery within 24hours. Hows that for service
Thanks Atmelace.
Clive i had a copy of checksum on my hard drive, i took your advice and managed to generate the correct RST. Yashsmash also emailed me the RST but i only used it for referance. Thanks Guys.

@freddo270, E-mail sent (dumps) ;)

@Gary10001, You post hijacker lol, Congratulations mate I'm glad you got it, maybe you can post the Rst when your ready after getting the keys from your Atmega card if you want to.
Clive.

Generated new RST, compared with yours yashsmash its the same, programmed a card all working couldn't wait to post an RST but when i try and upload the uploads failing for some reason. I have compressed into rar put on desktop but can't post any idea's guys

The sites upload and download abilities are fecked at the mo' while works to improve the site are going on.
It shouldn't take very long.
Clive.

At least i've done it now so will be able to post future RST's and hopefully help other people, cheers Clive / Yashsmash

Thats the spirit, That RST was taken from DW download section. Thanks to DW and all its Guru's everyone has the ability to learn and improve.
