hi just a quick question about this box.do i have to have the dish connected whilst updating the box over the internet has my internet connection is upstairs far from the disk connection?

think thats the hole point of a share box needs to be on line with the server so it can read the cards just run a cat five ( eather net cable ) from your router to the receiver and do as there forum tells you . Have seen alot of talk about these boxs i think its going to be like another visionnet receiver but time will only tell

After time the servers that visionnet reciever connected too all went offline. Then a firmware was released which let you enter a code to access a server, the only problem with this was that it cost about 10 euro a month to connect.
