eurovox max dead

mother in laws eurovox max seems totally dead ,

cut out a few times , then re started , now its dead ,

cant detect it with null modem cable as there is no power in the box .

any ideas .

if its not lighting up check connection from psu to board. if thats ok then it sounds like the psu is deed m8

ps you'll have checked the fuse allready?

I would send it back to the dealer mate. Most of them are very good and would swap it no problem, as long as it has a fault of course.

I believe they have a 12 month warranty and if it is a Max as you say then it can not be that old.

Hopefully it is just the link from the psu to mainboard but if not return it to your supplier. It is possible to be over 12 months old, the max first came out for 2006 so it's possibly 14 months old which is a tw*t.
