error 266 nvram ca bad crc

Hi guys

i have a pace 4001 and it gets stuck on tune. When i go into engineers and look at the errors i get the following:

error 266 nvram ca bad crc

i have removed the ram and put it back in, removed the red jumper for 5 minutes. when i try to manual update by holding down the down button when powering on it stays on"powering up - just a moment" screen.

any help would be great.

could the ram be knackered?

u can't force update a 4001 it does it itself,....is the box for ur area are u in pure area

Bad crc usually appears after the jumper has been removed and the box has not yet updated itself with new settings. Are you in Pure and is the netid correct for your area?

You will probably need to have a look at TBC's stuck intune guide appendix b. Check the upstream and downstream pages and compare with the guide it will probably determine wether you need to start changing caps to correct the tune problem
