Hi all, Hope someone can help me here .. I have a elitebook 850 G3 ..

When I book up the laptop I get this error & wont boot
"eepc has been corrupted"

How do I fix this

Hi. I don’t know what one how do I think this. Is it the boot sector. Could I just not wipe the boot sector? It my m.2 drive :(

AFAIK, all the data on the drive will be encrypted; not just the boot sector.

It should tell you what version of EEPC is installed as part of the error message. For example:

If you don't want to recover any data, then a reinstall will probably be quickest. Whether you are able to do this will depend on your system. If you can get into the UEFI, you might be able to do a Secure Erase of the SSD from within or boot from a live disc to delete the partitions. Note that doing this will make the existing data on the drive unrecoverable.
