ECP to EPP

Hello peeps

I am having difficulties changing my parallel port settings to EPP in the Bios settings.

I have a Dell d600 and when i enter the Bios and scroll down to the parallel port, i only have options of ECP, Bi directional, normal and disabled.

Is this option available for any laptop and am i doing something wrong or does my laptop not support this function.

Looks like you got this posted in PC Section also which I gave you a response to. So just in case


according to the user manual on dells site the following line states

Parallel .. . .25-hole connector; normal, bi-directional or ECP

therefore suggests EPP not supported
