ok tried last night ftp to tmp folder when i go to install it say 0 packages etc installed ,tried usb the same. I did uninstall the version i had still the same. any idea? Thank you

How you installing it ? Old version needs removing and telnet is the best method of install.

used flash fxp to send it to tmp folder. not sure on how to telnet it tried var/volatile/tmp# opkg install (then file name) but no file exists

Once your logged in with telnet at the prompt run this. No need to switch directories.

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

So is this being maintained as i heard that smasamsam was keeping things private for friends and family? alot of links no longer work as says failed with link extractor etc etc
